quiet. His car was very quiet with dp's and cats. It is resonated at the h-pipe. After he installed tp's, the car did get a little louder, but not very loud still. Obviously significantly louder than stock, but much quieter than the resonated HKS Hypers that I had, or the Greddy SP that I have now. If you want it quiet, you're pretty much stuck with a resonated h-pipe and stock mufflers... I had this setup for a while, but it made the car noticeably slower...something I couldn't have when escturbo had just purchased an '03 Z06. The Borla is a good mix of acceptable sound levels and performance. Generally, however, a loud exhaust will flow more than a quiet one. Thus the superiority of the straight thru "can" muffler over the "turbo" style. Of course, only a dyno can see the power difference between a resonated and unresonated exhaust...so I guess the little differences that are made to quiten the exhaust are still worth it when choosing something civil for a DD. Otherwise, straight pipes work pretty well as far as flow goes.
